Five species of pigeons are expected in the Las Vegas area. Three species are native, and the other two are introduced from the old world. Band-tailed Pigeons can be found in the Pine-Fir forests on Mt. Charleston, and the other species can be found in urban areas such as parks and residential neighborhoods around Las Vegas. |
