General Description: Bridled Titmice (Baeolophus wollweberi) are small, sexually monomorphic songbirds related to chickadees. Bridled Titmice are plain gray overall with a crest. The head is variously marked with black patches and lines, including a black bib like chickadees and black on the crest.
Taxonomy: Passeriformes, Paridae.
Favored Habitat: Oak and pine-oak woodlands in the mountains.
Where to Find: Don't look for Bridled Titmice around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them in southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, and southward into Mexico.
